As I was getting near 2nd trimester, I was trying to master sleeping on my left side. I read this in one of the pregnancy books that you should train your body sleep on the left side to help circulate the blood flow better to the baby. Since I'm a back sleeper, it was incredibly hard to sleep on one side throughout the night. I started having neck and back pain. My friend suggested I use the snoggle. I have to said, it really helped. I had to place a small pillow under my head to elevate my upper body but overall I would definiately recommend this product to all expecting mothers out there.
